            Imparting skill for employment generation is the conventional training methodology.  However, on most occasions post training escort services and hand holding  is lacking which is very important to increase the success of entrepreneurship development programme.  KVK has developed special strategy to increase the  employment generation opportunities by establishing enterprise by the trainees.  This system is being implemented in two phases.

 

Training Programme 

  • Technical training

  • Management skills like communication skill, market survey, marketing skill etc.

  • Preparation of Detailed Project Report (DPR)

  • Lectures of bankers, concerned line departments for licensing, schemes and other issues.

  • Exposure visits to nearby successful enterprises to increase the confidence by seeing and interacting with the entrepreneurs.

Post Training Phase

  • Post training interaction and getting the feedback and needs/suggestions so that necessary escort services on individual basis can be given.

  • Separate Entrepreneurs Development Programme (EDP) Cell has been established where detailed database is being maintained.

  • Individual follow-up is being taken of every trainee and necessary support is given to establish their venture.

  • If required, modification of project proposal, follow-up with credit institutions and development departments etc. are also being done.
