Fourth Empowered Steering Committee (ESC) meeting of Agri-
Clinics & Agri-Business Centres (ACABC) Scheme held on 1.10.2009 New Delhi has revised the eligibility criteria for graduates to undergo ACABC training according to which following category of candidates could be considered for
broadening the scope and outreach of the scheme.
i. Graduates in Agriculture and Allied subjects from SAUs/ Central AgriculturalUniversities/ Universities recognized by ICAR/UGC.
ii. Diploma in Agriculture and Allied subjects from State Agricultural Universities.
iii. Science Graduates with Post Graduation in Agriculture & Allied subjects.

" The Margin Money/Collateral Security requirements for a loan upto Rs. 5.00 lakhs for set up of Agriclinic & Agribusiness Enterprise by the successful Agriclinic Trainees may be waived by the Banks"
